Horseback Riding Mongolia Style

For Western equestrians, the traditional Mongolian horse tack probably looks a bit different, and there are certainly some differences in the style of riding as Mongolian horses are trained to respond differently than Western horses. The notable differences are in the style of the saddle and in how riders’ body language signals commands to the horse. Mongolia has an extensive history of horseback riding, and I’m no equestrian myself, so I wanted to link to this helpful article that details how to ride a Mongolian horse.
