It’s been a busy month and some change since we finally returned to Mongolia on August 3rd. We are still settling in to our new place and trying to find a daily rhythm with school (we are doing distance learning for this year), childcare, Mongolian language lessons, and everyday tasks. We get things mostly done most days. 😀
I will write more about this in upcoming posts, but I thought it would be fun to highlight our time in the US in the four years that we were away from Mongolia. Our time stateside entailed:
- 4 long-term living situations
- 2 short-term living situations
- 4 vehicles borrowed or rented
- 2 surgeries
- 3 schools
- 7 states
- 10 domestic flights (5 round trips)
I’m sure there’s more I could add, but that’s just a snapshot. So thankful to be back in one place for a few years without moves pending!
We are thrilled that you have returned!! This is wonderful news! May the re-adjustment go well!
